Over the weekend Anthony and I went out for a few rides and he had an idea to mount his camera onto the dash and took some video. The mounting method was slightly crude…..(black electrical tape….lots and lots of it…) but it worked!! The quality of this sample isn’t that great – the original is better, but you get the idea!!

Howdy all, todays ride to work was normal, but the ride home today was fantastic.
Our usual ride home from Maclean looks like this….
But today it looked like this…..
We decided to turn a 15km commute into a 25 km corner fest!!
There were some awesome corners on this road, and unfortunately due to the fact that Anthony wasn’t familiar with them we were limited to a “sighting run” and had to back off a few times…..but it was still great fun.
We’ll have to go again and again because although we took a few photos, it was just too much fun to stop…
When we stopped to photograph the road, Skippy was in abundance…..these are the ones that didn’t hop away. There must have been about 30 of them, of all sizes…it was so cool.
and although we didn’t stop to much, there were some corners like this…….

it was a great way for Anthony to unwind after a long day at work…..and a great way for me to get a good workout on the road.

This week’s winner of Derbi’s Celebrity Pillion Passenger of the Week is from the only US state that is named after a “Spaceballs” character. She is from a small town called Tyler and she is the november winner of a monthly prize that gets her on the cover of a magazine that is run by a dude who spend his days wearing his Pyjama’s and hanging out with lots of girls….She is Kelly Thompson.
The day was looking good for a while this morning, the sun was out when we left home at 7:30am, but after about 25 km the view was a bit less bright, the temp dropped, the fog rolled in and we were greeted with this……
Unfortunately it stayed like that for most of the trip, which left us a little cold, but it was still a good ride. At least it wasn’t raining!
Its currently fine and 24 degrees, so hopefully the ride home will be good too.

Howdy everyone, hope your riding over the last few weeks has been good. We’ve been enjoying our daily commute to the office, and despite the warmer weather, there has been the occasional cold morning that has crept up on us, like last Tuesday when the thick fog returned…..seriously cold trip that day.
The road has also been free of road-kill in the last two weeks. The number of ‘roo fatalities seem to have dropped, which is great for me (nothing to hit on the road and splatter onto my paint) and great for Anthony (nothing to hit and he doesn’t have to deal with the smell!)
So what’s been happening in racing land lately? Great to see Casey Stoner make his return to MotoGP and to also get up on the podium. Will be great if he can win next weekend at Phillip Island.
The close battle between Noriyuki Haga and Ben Spies continues in World Superbikes – only 10 points separates the charging American on his R1 from the Japanese Ducati rider, with only one round to go.
The upcoming Australian Supercross races will also be good with the battles between Chad Reed and 7 times AMA champion Jeremy McGrath, and also Chad and defending world champion James “Bubba” Stewart.
Other racing that Anthony is interested in this weekend is the V8 Supercars at Bathurst. Hopefully the Holden teams will be able to stop the dominating Ford Team Vodafone boys from getting 4 Bathurst wins in a row. It will also be good to see three time world superbike champion Troy Bayliss have a go in the race today too.
